Job summary

Scotiabank is seeking a Financial Planner in its retail branch network to manage a portfolio of clients, drive investment and retirement planning, and meet deposit and investment sales goals.

You will establish and deepen investment relationships, deliver expert advice, and craft personalized financial strategies while leveraging technology to streamline processes and improve client experience.

Qualifications

• Experience in financial planning and investment sales is preferred.
• CIFP/CFP designation or bank recognized equivalent completed.
• Mutual Funds Representative license in good standing with licensing requirements.

• Knowledgeable of market trends, economic conditions, and regulatory environment.

Responsibilities

• Conduct in-depth reviews for clients including retirement planning and wealth accumulation.
