Job summary

Scotiabank seeks a Financial Planner to join its retail branch network as part of the FAIR program. You will manage a portfolio of clients, deliver personalized financial strategies and retirement planning advice, and meet investment sales targets.

You will use advanced planning tools to review retirement, wealth and estate plans, and collaborate with branch partners to grow client investments while ensuring a high-quality client experience.

Qualifications

• Experience in financial planning and investment sales is preferred.
• Ability to thrive in a collaborative, results-driven team culture.
• Knowledge of market trends, economic conditions and regulatory environment.

Responsibilities

• Establish and deepen investment and primary banking relationships with existing clients and referrals.
• Conduct retirement planning, wealth accumulation and estate planning for assigned clients.
• Promote growth of proprietary investment business in the market area.
