Job summary

Scotiabank is hiring a Financial Planner (FAIR) in Ottawa, Ontario, to join the branch sales team. You will manage an assigned client portfolio, promote proprietary investment products, and deliver customized financial strategies including retirement, wealth, and estate planning.

You will collaborate across partners, leverage planning tools, and strive to meet deposit and investment sales targets while ensuring a superior client experience.

Qualifications

• Experience in financial planning and investment sales is preferred.
• CIFP/CFP designation or bank recognized equivalent.
• Mutual Funds Representative license in good standing with licensing requirements.
• Thrive in a collaborative, results-driven team culture.
• Knowledgeable of market trends, regulatory environment.

Responsibilities

• Establish and deepen investment and banking relationships with existing clients and referrals.
