The Wealth Management Consultant (WMC) acts as the primary contact for referrals from Retail Banking into Scotia Wealth Management (SWM). They actively seek wealth management opportunities among existing customers, focusing on High Net Worth clients and Ultra-High Net Worth segments. The WMC understands SWM's offerings, including Investment Management, Private Banking, Estate & Trust Planning, and other wealth solutions.
The WMC targets clients with investable assets typically of $1,000,000 or more, with considerations for clients with assets over #,000 where complexity warrants.
Responsibilities include providing sales support and coaching to branches, enhancing referral conversations, and transitioning clients to Lead Relationship Managers (LRMs). They may also conduct needs assessments for Commercial Banking/Automotive clients.
