Qualifications

Overview

We offer a comprehensive suite of services that includes risk management, estate planning, tax planning as well as investment planning.

We are currently hiring a full time Wealth Management Assistant to provide professional and specialized administrative services and support, as well as play an active role in a growing business. This highly motivated individual will be responsible for financial administrative and customer service support, to a Wealth Management Advisor and high net worth clients. This support includes :

Responsibilities
  • Processing investment and insurance transactions / paperwork.
  • Managing a diligent follow up system for all processing.
  • Word processing of all correspondence.
  • Maintaining meticulous client files, databases and inputting.
  • Report preparation and research for client meetings.
  • Schedule and confirm all appointments for advisor.
  • Providing sales support such as preparing expense reports, mailers, arranging webinars.
  • Research and resolve all processing and customer service enquiries with expedience.
  • Ensuring Firm compliance standards are upheld and met.
  • Format and assemble client deliverables, ensuring a high level of attention to detail.
  • Overseeing all incoming communications and internal correspondence.
  • Act as a representative and liaison for the Financial Advisor.
  • Building strong client relationships.
Qualifications
  • University or College degree.
  • Minimum 5 full years of prior experience in a similar role at a financial services firm. Preference given to experience assisting a financial planner.
  • Excellent verbal and interpersonal skills, and mature attitude.
  • Strong writing skills. Ability to create concise, clear and grammatically correct correspondence.
  • Must have strong mathematical aptitude.
  • Keen eye for accuracy and exceptional attention to detail.
  • Very good working knowledge of Excel and Word, and have had experience with related industry systems.
  • Professional, well presented, with a strong customer service focus.
  • Exceptional administrative, time management, and problem solving skills.
  • Ability to operate independently with minimal supervision.
  • Proven self starter who takes initiative and works with integrity.
  • Preference given to candidates having IFIC Funds Course or CSC.
