Job summary

RBC Dominion Securities is seeking winter co-ops for Administrative Assistant roles within Wealth Management. You will support Investment Counsellors and Advisors, coordinate client meetings, and help onboard and maintain client accounts in a fast-paced environment.

You should have strong MS Office skills, excellent time management, and superior communication. This is a full-time, salaried student term based in Vancouver, with opportunities to learn across RBC wealth teams.

Qualifications

• Strong Microsoft Office Suite skills.
• High level of time management and organization skills.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
• Familiarity with Salesforce is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and prepare meetings for Advisors with clients/prospects.
• Provide proactive client service with a focus on problem resolution and attention to detail; liaise with departments for execution.
• Assist the Advisor team with client onboarding and maintenance of existing client accounts.
• Ensure accurate and timely updates of all necessary documentation in compliance with internal controls and regulatory requirements.
• Maintain complete and up-to-date client files within appropriate systems.
• Support Advisor team and clients through the Wealth Management process and monitor activities.
• Stay current with RBC Policies & Procedures.
• Provide support on assigned projects, conducting research and sharing information with the team.
• Answer basic inquiries and resolve routine problems regarding products and services via calls, email, or web chat.
