Job summary

Tangerine is seeking a driven financial planner/investment advisor in Canada, specializing in trusted client relationships and holistic financial guidance. You will deliver tailored investment advice, conduct needs assessments, and help clients navigate savings, loans, and digital tools.

The role emphasizes ongoing professional development, strong regulatory compliance, and delivering high-quality client service within a dynamic Wealth team.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3-5 years of work experience as a financial planner or investment advisor, dealing 1:1 with clients.
• Licensed as a Mutual Fund Dealing Representative.
• Working towards or completed CFP or PFP designations.
• Fluent English; French is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Develop and build trusted client relationships by delivering investments and financial advice.
• Conduct deep discovery and financial needs assessments to understand clients’ priorities, goals, and risk.
• Refer opportunities for savings, loans, and other financial services to provide holistic support.
• Educate clients to use online and digital self-serve tools.
• Execute a proactive client contact strategy to drive growth for the Wealth business.
