Job summary

Cambrian Credit Union is seeking a Wealth & Advisory Sales & Support Specialist to back the advisory team and coordinate wealth-related services. The role emphasizes administrative support, client communications, and collaboration with Aviso Wealth partners to ensure smooth transfers, planning and portfolio realignment.

Candidates should have 1+ year in retail financial services or wealth management support, strong MS Office skills, and the ability to obtain CSC or IFIC within 18 months.

Responsibilities

  • Provide support to the Aviso Wealth advisory team and liaise with the Supervisor, Manager & VP.
  • Monitor and perform administrative and sales activities (transfers, PACs, SWPs, EFTs, KYC updates, income plans).
  • Use Online Service Management and CSM tracking systems.
  • Lead special projects in support of Cambrian’s growth strategies.
  • Support advisory team in basic sales and administrative servicing of client accounts.
  • Coordinate annual review meetings and KYC renewals across portfolios.
  • Maintain proficiency with Aviso Dataphile, eAdvisor, and Advisor/Investor portals.
  • Manage direct member sales campaigns and referrals within Wealth & Advisory Services.
  • Support service delivery network with wealth inquiries and referrals.
  • Ensure timely client communications via Wealth Management Support Team.
  • Maintain electronic client files with timely scanning/uploading.
  • Provide internal reporting on sales and referrals to Supervisor/Manager/VP.
  • Maintain understanding of NEI Investments and Private Wealth Portfolio Solutions.
  • Assist Supervisor/Manager/VP with assigned tasks or projects as needed.

The Wealth & Advisory Sales & Support Specialist consistently delivers high-quality support within the Wealth & Advisory Services department while ensuring that Cambrian’s reputation for professional wealth expertise is maintained in all interactions with members and our partner, Aviso Wealth. The position provides backup support to the Supervisor, Wealth & Advisory Services, and the Manager, Wealth & Advisory Services. It also encompasses key administrative and sales-focused activities that support continued sales growth, basic member servicing, and the advisory team’s delivery of an exceptional investment and planning experience to members.

The Wealth & Advisory Sales & Support Specialist will be responsible for:
  • Provide support to the Aviso Wealth Mutual Fund and Investment Division advisory team while working in close collaboration with and accepting direction from the Supervisor, Manager & VP, Wealth & Advisory Services.
  • Act as the primary liaison with Aviso Wealth in monitoring and performing administrative and sales activities, including but not limited to transfers, PACs, SWPs, EFTs, permitted KYC updates, and income plans.
  • Effectively use the Online Service Management and CSM tracking systems.
  • Lead special projects in support of Cambrian’s growth strategies, as identified by the Manager or VP, Wealth & Advisory Services.
  • Support the advisory team in effectively managing client accounts that require basic sales and administrative servicing.
  • Lead direct communication with members to facilitate and schedule annual review meetings, including KYC renewals and the realignment of client portfolios across Cambrian’s wealth offerings.
  • Maintain strong working proficiency with Aviso system platforms, specifically Dataphile, eAdvisor, and the Advisor and Investor portals.
  • Effectively manage assigned direct member sales and administrative campaigns, including but not limited to managing existing Cambrian deposits and soliciting and consolidating non-Cambrian deposits through appropriate referrals within the Wealth & Advisory Services team.
  • Support Cambrian’s service delivery network with administrative wealth inquiries and referrals.
  • Consistently deliver high-quality, timely communication to clients through the Wealth Management Support Team contact.
  • Maintain current and accurate electronic client files through timely scanning and uploading.
  • Provide ongoing support to the Supervisor, Manager, and VP, Wealth & Advisory Services, with internal reporting, including but not limited to sales and referral tracking and reporting.
  • Maintain a current, basic understanding of NEI Investments and Private Wealth Portfolio Solutions.
  • Provide assistance and support to the Supervisor, Manager, and VP, Wealth & Advisory Services, as necessary or required (e.g., undertake projects, tasks, or duties as assigned).
Your Education & Experience:
  • Minimum education level of Grade 12 or equivalent, with post-secondary education considered an asset.
  • A minimum of one year of demonstrated proficiency in retail financial services or sales and support administration; experience with wealth management services is considered an asset.
  • Ability to obtain the Canadian Securities Course (CSC) or Mutual Funds (IFIC) qualification within 18 months of the start date.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word, and Teams.
  • Creative thinker and problem solver with a member-centred approach and a strong drive to continuously improve and add value to the business.
  • Ability to work well in an environment with multiple and often changing priorities.
