Job summary

Desjardins in Canada is seeking a wealth management advisor to develop lasting relationships with members and clients. You will listen to needs, offer tailored financial advice, and help select investments, loans and insurance to meet goals.

You will work with individuals and business owners, balancing client satisfaction with risk management and profitability, while collaborating with partners to design integrated strategies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a related field.
• Minimum of one year of relevant experience.
• Mutual fund certificate required.
• Knowledge of French is required.
• Knowledge of tax, financial and succession issues for individuals and businesses.
• Knowledge of caisse Desjardins products and Desjardins Business Centres offerings.
• Strong interpersonal skills and customer service orientation.

Responsibilities

• Advise members and clients on the best strategies and work with them to identify expected results.
• Manage business relationships, assess member/client satisfaction and service quality, follow up and identify areas for improvement.
• Stay up-to-date on the financial services industry, market trends and best practices in your field.
• Participate in outreach activities and represent the caisse in the community.
