Reporting to the OHSW Manager, the Workers Compensation Board (WCB) Advisor is responsible for providing case services to high-risk WCB claims and acts as a liaison between the employer, treatment providers, and the Workers Compensation Board. The WCB Advisor reviews incident report information and, when required, co-ordinates referrals of employees to external treatment providers, including the completion of electronic WCB employer injury reports and providing case management and return-to-work coordination of high-risk claims. The WCB Advisor also provides support and return-to-work recommendations to NSH Managers & Supervisors and promotes the development and expansion of OHSW programming while following OHSW policies based on industry and best practice standards.

$28.60 - $35.75 Hourly
