Job summary

Arcadis is seeking an Air Quality, Noise and Vibration Engineer Intern/Co‑op to join our Waterloo, ON team for a 4- or 8-month term starting January 2027. You will support data collection, modelling, and reporting on rail, transit, industry, and infrastructure projects.

You'll work with multidisciplinary teams, gain hands-on experience in environmental consulting, and develop Python-based tools, GIS, and CAD workflows while traveling to project sites as needed.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Engineering.
• Interest in acoustics, environmental consulting, or data analysis.
• Preference for Python, GIS, and CAD tools.

Responsibilities

• Support noise assessment projects for rail, transit, industry, and energy.
• Conduct field data collection and acoustic measurements at project sites.
• Assist data analysis, modelling, and interpretation of datasets.
• Prepare technical reports and project documentation under supervision.
• Help develop internal tools and workflows, including Python-based solutions.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary project teams.
