Job summary

Howmet Aerospace Inc. in Georgetown, Ontario is seeking a machine operator to run water blaster and perform basic maintenance. This on-site role requires reading instructions, following safety rules, and keeping the workspace clean.

Starting wage is $20 per hour. Training is offered and cross-training in various areas within the facility is possible to support operations and quality standards. You must be able to stand for long periods and work with attention to detail in a team environment.

Qualifications

• Must read, write, and comprehend verbal and activity instructions.
• Must acquire knowledge for acceptable/non acceptable requirements for castings by being able to interpret and understand visual specifications.
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals.
