Job summary

WSP Canada is seeking a Senior Water & Wastewater Treatment Lead to direct Atlantic Canada's most impactful projects. You will mentor talent, collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, and partner with clients to solve complex treatment challenges that protect public health and the environment.

The role requires leading planning, design, and delivery across projects from concept to commissioning, with travel across Atlantic Canada.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Civil, Environmental, Chemical, Mechanical or related Engineering.
Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) designation in Canada and eligibility to practice in Nova Scotia.
15+ years of progressive experience in water and wastewater, or 10+ with strong leadership.
Extensive experience leading planning, design and delivery of water/wastewater facilities.
Strong expertise in treatment process evaluation and infrastructure planning.

Responsibilities

Lead planning, design, and delivery of municipal and industrial water and wastewater projects from concept to commissioning.
Provide senior technical leadership for treatment process design and capital programs.
Mentor engineers and designers while fostering technical excellence and collaboration.
Build client relationships and pursue opportunities to grow WSP's water practice in Atlantic Canada.
Direct multidisciplinary teams through studies, detailed design, procurement, construction, and commissioning.
