Job description

STV, located in Charlotte and Morrisville, NC, is seeking a Water and Wastewater Senior CAD Designer to join our team. This senior-level role involves various tasks designed to foster experience and collaboration with staff, methods, practices, and organizational culture.

Responsibilities and Duties:

1. Prepare or assist in preparing water and wastewater or general civil engineering documents, details, schedules, or reports.
2. Demonstrate knowledge and proficiency in water and wastewater pipelines and DOT wet utility relocation plans.
3. Show proficiency in the firm’s drafting standards and CADD software.
4. Use the firm’s system for filing and retrieving drawings and project information; assist in producing drawings, graphs, charts, exhibits, and other documents.
5. Develop knowledge of available resources such as reference materials, government agencies, utility companies, and in-house records.
6. Enhance skills in the use of CADD equipment and procedures.

Qualifications and Skills:

1. Technical School preferred; High school diploma or equivalent required.
2. Familiarity with CADD programs like MicroStation, OpenRoads Designer, Civil 3D AutoCAD, and third-party software.
3. 15+ years of experience preferred; 10 years required.

Compensation Range:

$68,560.00 - $91,413.00
