Job summary

Adecco is seeking licensed Water & Wastewater Operators/Supervisors (Level 1+) for full-time roles based in Goderich, ON. This position supports reliable operation of water and wastewater systems across Ontario and offers a stable career path with on-call rotation.

You will monitor performance, perform inspections, troubleshoot issues, collect samples, and ensure regulatory compliance while supporting continuous improvement in diverse facilities.

Qualifications

• Valid Ontario Water and Wastewater Operator certifications (Level 1+).
• Valid Ontario driver’s license (G or G2) with clean record.
• Strong mechanical aptitude with tools/equipment.
• Proven troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and basic computer systems.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily operational and maintenance tasks including inspections, system monitoring, housekeeping, and preventative maintenance.
• Operate and maintain water treatment, wastewater treatment, and distribution systems across multiple facilities.
• Monitor system performance and optimize efficiency and compliance.
• Troubleshoot equipment and system issues and perform necessary repairs.
• Collect, track, and manage water and wastewater samples per regulatory requirements.
• Conduct in-house laboratory testing with appropriate tools and instrumentation.
• Maintain logs and documentation in compliance with regulations.
• Support commissioning and startup activities for new facilities and systems.
