Job summary

Civeo Water Canada Employees LP is hiring Level 1–3 Water and Wastewater Operators to support operations in the Fort McMurray region. The role involves operating and monitoring plant systems, interpreting SCADA and lab data, and providing guidance to junior staff.

15+ years? No, 3–5 years experience target; valid licenses and safety training required. Compensation reflects Alberta market with shifts including on-call nights and 14 on/14 off rotation.

Qualifications

• Certified operator with Level 2/3 in Water and Wastewater Treatment.
• 3–5 years’ experience in water/wastewater industry.
• Pass Pre-Access drug and alcohol testing.
• Valid Class 5 Driver’s License with clean driving record.
• Proficiency in MS Windows and MS Office.
• Able to lift >50 lbs and work independently or in a team.

Responsibilities

• Interpret SCADA and lab data against performance standards and initiate adjustments.
• Maintain operation, monitoring, and inspection of process equipment.
• Provide guidance to Junior operators.
• Carry out weekly bacteriological tests on site and biweekly tests at camps.
• Perform routine lab process tests to optimize treatment.
• Record data readings and prepare reports for shift relief personnel.
• Support safety, quality, and environmental practices on site.
• Work 14 days on and 14 days off rotation; stay in company lodges.
