Job summary

AECOM in Burnaby, BC is seeking a Civil Engineer/Project Manager to lead design and delivery of municipal water and wastewater conveyance projects. You will apply civil engineering principles, manage projects, and work with a multidisciplinary team to meet client needs.

You will prepare design documents, assist with specifications, conduct constructability reviews, and perform site inspections while coordinating with regulatory agencies and stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering with at least 6 years of relevant experience.
• Eligible for P.Eng registration with EGBC within 6 months.
• Experience with municipal water/wastewater/drainage projects and hydraulic modelling.

Responsibilities

• Design and project management of civil systems for municipal water and/or wastewater/drainage facilities.
• Prepare documentation for design projects and reports.
• Preparation of project specifications and contract documents.
• Perform constructability reviews.
• Perform construction inspections.
• Coordinate with regulatory agencies, manage proposals, budgeting and scheduling.
