Organizational Information

Purpose of your Position - Non Union

Join our Water Supply branch as a Water Supply Operator II to operate, maintain, inspect, monitor, and repair the City’s Water Storage, Treatment, and Distributions systems. The ideal candidate will have hands-on knowledge of computer systems such as SCADA, MMS, and Operational Databases to compile and analyze various systems and equipment reports and documentation. A Diploma in Water Quality or Water Treatment Technology is an asset.

Duties - Union

• Performs sampling, testing, and recording of water quality.
• Inspects and cleans equipment and infrastructure.
• Provides and responds to inquiries from contractors, engineers, the public, and other departments.
• Compiles and/or analyzes various systems or equipment reports and documentation.
