Total Restoration Services is seeking a hands-on Water Restoration Technician in Vernon, BC. You will lead water damage and emergency response jobs, set up and monitor drying systems, and coordinate with crew on site.

Applicants should be comfortable with physical work, maintain a positive attitude, and interact professionally with homeowners. On-call rotation is part of the role, with competitive hourly wages and benefits.

Water Restoration Technician (Flood Tech) – Vernon, BC

We’re looking for someone who wants more than just a job, we’re looking for someone who wants to build a solid career in restoration.

We handle floods, fires, and rebuilds, so the work is hands-on, fast-paced, and actually makes a difference for people going through tough situations.

What the job actually looks like

This is a hands-on, physical role where no two days are the same. You’ll be:

• Leading water damage and emergency response jobs
• Setting up and managing drying systems
• Directing and supporting crew members on site
• Monitoring moisture, documentation, and job progress
• Ensuring jobs are completed safely, efficiently, and to standard
• Working directly with homeowners during stressful situations

Some days are fast-paced and messy. Some are quieter. You need to be good with both.

What you’ll need

• Valid BC Driver’s Licence (clean abstract required)
• Ability to pass a criminal record check
• Experience in restoration, construction, or labour is an asset
• IICRC WRT certification is a bonus (we can help you get it)
• Experience driving a cube van or similar is an asset
