Job summary

The successful candidate will model water quantity/quality, prepare recommendations, and help advance modeling tools across river health initiatives. Strong engineering credentials and licensure are required.

Qualifications

• A degree in Civil or Environmental Systems Engineering or a related field and P.Eng. designation with practicing status.
• Experience with water quality modeling and regulatory interpretation is a strong asset.

Responsibilities

• Provide expertise to support watershed management programs and plans.
• Demonstrate project management, communication and relationship-building skills.
• Interpret water quality guidelines and develop compliant management strategies and reports.
• Develop strategies to advance water quality modeling tools and quantify pollutant loading.
• Contribute to watershed/stormwater plan development and implementation.
