Job Title:

Water Resources Engineer or Technologist

Designation:

• Professional Engineer (P. Eng.) or Certified Engineering Technician (CET)

Education:

• Engineering Degree from an accredited and recognized institution

Job Summary:

Our client is seeking a Water Resources Engineer or Technologist to join their team in either Brampton or Whitby, Ontario.

Job Duties:
  1. Providing consulting services to municipalities, builders and developers
  2. Water resources design, engineering, and management
  3. Designing master environmental servicing plans, stormwater management plans, pond design, floodplain management.
Qualifications:
  1. Engineering Degree from an accredited and recognized University
  2. 2-10 years of experience in storm water management design, flood plain modeling, and water supply design for subdivision and site plans.
  3. P.Eng or CET
  4. Knowledge of current requirements of the conservation authorities for subdivision and site plan designs.
  5. Be able to create/prepare engineering drawings with either AutoCad or Civil 3D, or both
  6. Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  7. Experience with AutoCAD, OTTHYMO, PCSWMM an asset
