Qualifications

What You Will Do
  1. Provide up to date communication and photos to Production Manager regarding status of work
  2. Determine category of water loss
  3. Extract water using truck mount and portable pumps
  4. Assist in determination of non-restorable building components
  5. Assist with demolition of non-restorable material
  6. Set up drying equipment as per established procedures
  7. Monitor drying process and adjust equipment as required
  8. Work within an On-Call rotation for after-hours emergencies
What You Have
  1. Water Restoration Technician Certification (considered an asset)
  2. Clean Criminal Record Check
  3. Valid Class 5 Driver’s License with a clean abstract
  4. Experience driving/parking a panel van and cube truck
  5. Ability to lift industrial fans 30-40 lbs
  6. Ability to load/unload wheeled industrial dehumidifiers 75-100 lbs
  7. Knowledge of construction and basic building materials
  8. Safely use power tools and hand tools
  9. Experience in custodial work, pressure washing, carpet cleaning (considered an asset)
  10. Ability to communicate effectively in English
  11. Ability to work alone or with minimal supervision
  12. Ability to empathize with clients/customers who have experienced loss of personal property
