Job summary

Culligan is hiring a residential water treatment sales representative in Brampton, Ontario. You will lead product demonstrations, explain solutions, and build a client base through referrals and local outreach.

The role requires a customer-focused, self-motivated professional with strong communication and a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends. Travel and community involvement are part of the job to grow market presence.

Qualifications

• Post-secondary education in Marketing or related field is an asset.
• Prior experience with residential territories
• Water industry or residential sales experience is an asset
• Versatile self-starter who can work independently
• Positive attitude and strong interpersonal/communication skills
• Flexible schedule including evenings and weekends
• Valid driver’s license and access to your own transportation
• Pleasant, professional customer service demeanor

Responsibilities

• Sell water treatment applications to residential customers professionally.
• Execute sales presentations and complete full product demonstrations with every potential customer.
• Generate leads from referrals and advertising; new customer outreach to meet quotas.
• Respond to current customers’ needs and follow up pre-installation and post-sale.
• Discuss products clearly, answer questions, and perform water testing as needed.
• Build community presence through local organizations and events.
• Set personal goals and coordinate with Sales Manager on leads and appointments.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Responsibilities

• Sell water treatment applications to residential customers in a straightforward and professional manner.
• Execute Culligan’s proven sales presentation process while completing the full product demonstration with every potential customer.
• Seek out self-generated new customer leads and initiate sales calls to potential customers to maintain sales quotas.
• Generate leads from referrals, print advertising, etc.
• Respond to current customers’ needs as requested.
• Follow up with new customers pre-installation and post-sale of product.
• Discuss all products on a clearly understood level, answer customers’ questions, and perform the technical aspects of the job (water testing, etc.)
• Become known in the community through involvement in the local Chamber of Commerce and/or other civic organizations.
• Set personal performance goals and be creative in your attempts to achieve them.
• Communicate with the Sales Manager on leads and scheduled appointments.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Post-Secondary education in Marketing or a related field is an asset.
• Prior experience with residential territories
• Previous experience in the water industry or with residential sales is a definite asset.
• A versatile self-starter who takes initiative and can work independently with minimum supervision.
• Positive attitude, work ethic, strong interpersonal and good written and oral communication skills
• Pleasant, professional, and friendly customer service demeanour is a must.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including evenings and weekends.
• Valid driver’s license, clean driving record, and access to your own transportation.
• Good work ethic and good attitude is a must.
