Job summary

Agilus by Synergie is recruiting for multiple Waste Collectors in Halifax, NS. This casual, on-call position offers outdoor work with early morning starts and potential to transition to full-time for the right candidates.

You will assist with residential garbage collection on assigned routes, lift and empty waste containers, and follow health and safety procedures in various Halifax-area locations. Reliable attendance and physical stamina are essential.

Qualifications

• Ability to perform physically demanding work, lifting 50-70 pounds repeatedly.
• Reliable transportation is required.
• Must provide own 8' CSA steel-toed boots, safety vest and gloves.
• Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• Dependable attendance and punctuality.
• Ability to work well as part of a team.
• Previous labour experience is an asset but not required.

Our client is seeking reliable and hardworking individuals to join their residential waste collection team. This is a casual, on-call position with the potential to become full-time for the right candidates. Work is performed outdoors in all weather conditions and offers an active work environment with early morning starts.

Compensation

We offer:$18.00 hourlyPaid weekly + 4% vacation pay

Schedule

Schedule: Monday to Friday, starting at 7:00 AM
