Job summary

EFS-plastics Inc. in Listowel, ON is hiring a Wash Line Operator - New to join a growing recycling operation. The role involves monitoring processing lines and performing quality checks to ensure product integrity. You will assist with some mechanical repairs and participate in continuous quality improvement initiatives.

Reporting to the Plant Manager, you will work in a safety-conscious environment that emphasizes cross-training, teamwork and opportunities for advancement within the EFS Group.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in manufacturing or industrial setting.
• Mechanical, equipment and process knowledge.
• Forklift, Health & Safety, and First Aid certificates.
• Positive attitude and engaged in work.
• Able to plan, prioritize and organize multiple tasks.
• Reliable, consistent attendance, punctual and dependable.

Responsibilities

• Monitor fully automated processing lines.
• Perform frequent quality checks on products.
• Participate in continuous quality improvement projects.
• Assist with some mechanical repairs.
• Maintain work area to acceptable safety and housekeeping standards.
• Notify the shift lead or management with any equipment related issues.
• Assist in the training of new operators.
• Additional duties as assigned.

Saturday and Sunday 7:00pm - 7:00am, with one 8 hour shift during the week

START DATE

SALARY

$20.00 - $25.66 per hour.

POSITION OVERVIEW

Reporting to the Plant Manager, the Wash Line Operator will primarily be responsible for monitoring processing lines, performing frequent quality checks on products as well as assisting with some mechanical repairs. They will also participate in continuous quality improvement projects.
