Job description

As a Wash Bay Attendant & Detailer, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our equipment and facilities. The ideal candidate will have a strong attention to detail, be safety-conscious, and reliable.

This is a full-time position requiring evening shifts from 4:30 PM to 1:00 AM, Monday through Friday.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Wash Heavy Equipment (Excavators, Loaders, Skid Steers) and fleet vehicles both manually and using automated equipment
  2. Detail equipment interiors and exteriors thoroughly
  3. Clean & de-grease engine compartments, undercarriages, wheels, and vehicle parts
  4. Move equipment to and from the wash bay and around the yard
  5. Perform general housekeeping duties such as garbage removal and floor cleaning
  6. Maintain electronic wash bay logs accurately
  7. Report any faults or malfunctions on company equipment
  8. Adhere strictly to safety protocols and company policies
Requirements
  1. Previous experience in a similar role is considered an asset
  2. Must be physically able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
  3. Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain equipment cleanliness
  4. Willingness to wear required personal protective equipment (PPE) including steel-toed rubber boots and safety glasses
  5. Ability to work in a wash bay environment which may involve exposure to noise and water
  6. Knowledge of safety protocols is essential
  7. CSTS 2020 certification is required (may be provided)
  8. CSA approved steel-toed rubber boots are mandatory
  9. Class 5 driver's license & reliable vehicle (required)
