Autocanada's Cambridge Hyundai dealership in Cambridge, ON is seeking a Wash Bay Attendant to detail and clean vehicles to dealership standards, both interior and exterior, supporting the service team with a tidy, safe workspace.

You will perform vacuuming, washing, paint sealant application, and wheel polishing, using various hand-held tools. A high school diploma, a valid license, and a passion for cars are essential; physically demanding tasks are expected.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Interest in automotive industry and knowledge of vehicles.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Ability to drive both automatic and manual transmission vehicles.
• Experience with cleaning products and power washers is an asset.
• Strong attention to detail and reliable work ethic.
• Ability to meet physical demands, including lifting, standing for long periods, and using power tools.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• You must be legally authorized to work in Canada.

Responsabilités

• Perform general car detailing activities, including vacuuming, deodorizing, and washing.
• Ensure the exterior of cars are clean and smudge free.
• Detailing interiors, wiping dash, vacuuming, and washing floor mats.
• Apply paint sealant.
• Clean and polish wheels and rims.
• Use a variety of hand-held tools to detail the interior and exterior of cars.
• Notify supervisor or appropriate technician when you notice parts of car that require repair or replacement.
• Complete quality control checklist.
• Perform other repair duties as required.

Your area of focus.

The Wash Bay Attendant is responsible for cleaning and detailing vehicles to dealership standards, ensuring both the interior and exterior are in excellent condition for customer delivery. This role supports the service team by maintaining a clean, organized workspace and following safety protocols while providing high-quality service.

What drives your day-to-day?

• Responsible for the detailing of interior and exterior of customer vehicles

Compensation

The expected range of compensation for this position is $19 - $20 Hourly - No bonus. The actual compensation offered will be based on a variety of factors, including job-related knowledge, education, skills and experience.
