Job summary

Western Granite & Stone in Calgary, AB invites applications for a Warehouseperson who is self-motivated, reliable and capable of handling routine warehouse tasks in a fast-paced environment. The successful candidate will load, unload, pick, pack and ship orders, maintain accurate inventory, label goods and operate basic material handling equipment while delivering excellent customer service.

Qualifications

• English language fluency required.
• Certificate of secondary (high) school graduation or equivalent required.
• Experience is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Load, unload, and move products and materials by hand or with basic equipment.
• Operate a variety of equipment to load, unload, and move materials and products.
• Ship orders.
• Pick orders and manage stock.
• Weigh materials and goods.
• Create labels and attach them to goods.
• Provide excellent customer service.
• Wrap goods.
• Pack and unpack goods.
• Install, lash, and secure goods.
• Transport and distribute materials and goods.
• Organize and keep inventory.
• Organize inventories using computerized inventory control systems.
