Warehouseman

Brandt is currently seeking a Warehouseperson for our Nanaimo location. This position is responsible for inventory control in a warehouse environment.

Duties & Responsibilities

1. Work with all parts department and customer service staff to ensure fill rate goals are achieved
2. Pick, pack parts as per issued pick list and complete the required documentation to ship orders within the set guidelines
3. Perform tasks requested by the manager
4. Locate inventory in the proper location and enter the related information into ERP system
5. Work to load trucks with finished goods
6. Inspect outgoing shipments for damage during the loading process
7. Count inventory as required
8. Keep area clean and in order at all times
9. Other duties as assigned

Required Skills

1. Good positive communication skills and good attendance
2. Physically fit to manually handle all goods, steel, and products as required
3. Able to lift up to 50 pounds

Required Experience

1. Experience working under minimal supervision
2. Experience operating forklifts and related equipment safely and efficiently
3. Able to perform work-related duties outside in a safe and competent manner in adverse conditions (extreme heat/cold, icy/slippery conditions)
