Warehouse/Yard

Belleville Metal Sales (Salit Group of Companies) Steel Service Centre is seeking to fill the role of a Warehouse Production Worker responsible for performing duties in the Warehouse/Yard.

This is a full time position, Monday to Friday 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM.

Competitive wage, benefits after 770 hours.

Principal Responsibilities and Duties

• Operate machinery, equipment and tools in a safe and efficient manner
• Inventory management – pulling & putting stock away as required
• Loading customer orders and unloading suppliers
• Maintaining a clean and organized work area

Physical Requirements

• Able to work on your feet – repetitive standing / walking
• Lifting up to 50 lbs

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience in a manufacturing or construction environment considered an asset
• Previous fork truck operating experience considered an asset
• Previous experience using Oxygen/Propane Torches considered an asset
