Job summary

A leading HVAC services provider is seeking a candidate in the Region of Waterloo for a temporary role starting May 5, 2021. Responsibilities include inventory management, delivering materials, and assisting installation crews. Ideal candidates will possess strong communication and organizational skills, a G class driver's license, and a commitment to workplace safety. This role offers a dynamic work environment with core hours from 7 AM to 9 PM.

Qualifications

  • Must have WHMIS certification and safety boots.
  • Valid G class driver's license required.
  • Experience operating powered forklifts is an asset.

Responsibilities

  • Organize and assist with inventory of HVAC equipment.
  • Maintain accurate stock records to prevent work stoppages.
  • Deliver materials as needed by installation crews.
  • Assist with daily truck inspections.

Education

Job description

Locations : Thunder Bay, Durham Region, Kingston, Brantford, Cambridge, Mississauga, Richmond Hill, and Burlington.

Core hours of work : 7AM – 9PM (subject to change based on business needs).

Requirements : Must have all safety requirements, WHMIS certification, safety boots, and a valid G class driver’s license.

This is a temporary role starting on May 5, 2021.

Qualifications :

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Good organizational skills.
  • Computer skills including scanning, email, and data collection.
  • Ability to follow directions and work independently.
  • Ability to lift up to 75 lbs. (or more with assistance).
  • Valid G class driver’s license.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Willingness to work in all assigned areas.
  • Strong commitment to workplace safety.
  • Experience operating powered forklifts is an asset.

Responsibilities :

  1. Organize and assist with inventory of HVAC equipment and materials, including loading, unloading, and data entry.
  2. Stage HVAC equipment and materials for installation.
  3. Maintain accurate stock records to prevent work stoppages.
  4. Deliver materials as needed by installation crews.
  5. Load and unload at job sites.
  6. Assist with daily truck inspections and ensure scheduled maintenance.
  7. Coordinate with Installation, Sales, and WFP departments to ensure smooth information flow and documentation.
  8. Refurbish water heaters and remove components from scrapped units.
  9. Perform additional duties as assigned.

Note : Successful criminal background check, clean driver’s abstract, and employment references are required.
