Job summary

Responsibilities include receiving, storage, product checks, security compliance, vendor coordination, and daily housekeeping to meet health standards. This role requires ability to lift up to 50 lbs and bilingual English/French is preferred.

Qualifications

• One year of experience in a food service environment is essential.
• Verbal and written communication are essential; read, speak, and understand English and French.
• Basic mathematical skills.
• Food handlers permit as required by law.
• Brand Certification as required.
• Ability to remember, recite, and promote the menu items.
• Ability to lift and carry boxes up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to stand and work in confined spaces for long periods.

• Maintain proper and adequate setup of the back door/receiving area and all storage areas on a daily basis.
• Handles, stores, and rotates all products properly.
• Follows all security guidelines for back door receiving, including checking airport badges and paperwork for deliveries.
• Responsible for proper check-in of all product, including inspecting packages, temperatures, dates, and matching deliveries to invoice specs.
• Must follow all property guidelines and procedures for delivery of product to the individual restaurants.
• Maintain vendor relations and follow procedures regarding product rejection or return to vendor.
• Complete opening, on-going, and closing checklists as required.
• Perform general cleaning tasks using standard cleaning products to adhere to health standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain proper and adequate set-up of the back door/receiving area and all storage areas on a daily basis. Thisincludes cleaning, organizing, and maintaining all dry, refrigerated, and frozen storage areas and shelves. Alsoincludes keeping back door area cleared for the safety of employees and delivery personnel.
• Handles, stores, and rotates all products properly.
• Follows all security guidelines for back door receiving, including checking of airport badges and all paperwork fordeliveries.
• Responsible for proper check-in of all product. This includes inspecting physical package, product temperatures,and dates on perishable products when applicable. Also includes matching delivered product to invoice specs, packsize and number of units received.
• Must follow all property guidelines and procedures for delivery of product to the individual restaurants
• Must maintain vendor relations, and follow all procedures regarding product rejection or return to vendor.
• Complete opening, on-going, and closing checklists as required.
• Perform general and specific cleaning tasks using standard cleaning products as assigned by supervisor to adhereto health standards.

Requirements:

• One year experience working in food service environment is essential.
• High school diploma preferred.
• Verbal and written communication is essential. Able to read, speak, and understand the English and French language is essential.
