Job summary

UPS is hiring an Evening Warehouse Worker in Windsor, Ontario. This part-time permanent role involves sorting, loading, and unloading packages in a fast-paced warehouse. Typical shift is 5:00 PM–10:00 PM, 5 days a week, for about 25 hours weekly at 5325 Rhodes Drive, Windsor ON.

The job includes physical duties, training, and opportunities within a Fortune 50 company. Pay starts at $18.15/hr with a $0.50/hr bonus; union progression to $28.71/hr after 48 months.

Qualifications

• Typical package weight ranges from 25-35 lbs

• Must be able to work 25 hours per week
• Ability to read and memorize postal codes
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced and physically demanding environment
• Comfortable working inside truck trailers and package delivery vehicles
• No prior warehouse experience required

Job Description

The Evening Warehouse Worker position is a physical, fast-paced, and labor-intensive role within a warehouse environment that involves sorting/stocking packages as well as loading and unloading them into and out of UPS package delivery vehicles and trailers.

Workdays

Monday to Friday (Must be available to work all 5 days)

Shift Hours

5:00 PM to 10:00 PM (Flexibility with start and finish times required based on operational needs)

Shift Duration: 3-5 hours a day

Hourly Wage

$18.15/hr (base rate of $18.15/hr + an hourly bonus of $.50)

Key Responsibilities

Compensation and Benefits

• Pay rate of $18.15/hr.


• Automatic pay rate progression as per the existing Union Collective Agreement to $28.71/hr. after 48 months of service
