Job summary

Cosentino in Ottawa, ON is hiring a Warehouse Worker to join our expanding team. You will handle merchandise preparation, stock handling, loading/unloading, and order readiness in our Natural Stone Slab Yard, ensuring efficient distribution and customer satisfaction.

You will operate forklift and overhead crane, follow SOPs, maintain safety, and work with Manufacturing, Production and Distribution teams. Minimum 2 years warehouse experience; HS diploma required. Starting wage $19–$22.50 per hour.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload product for truck, flatbed or container.

• Move waste from containers to dumpsters.
• Report issues for quality control and review incoming/outgoing products for damages.
• Operate within SOPs and JSAs; maintain a safe working area.

What are we looking for

At Cosentino (cosentino) we are looking for aWarehouse Worker located inOttawa, ON, who will have the opportunity to work in a multinational environment, in full expansion, surrounded by numerous challenging projects that you can be part.

What you will do

We are looking for a warehouse worker to assist us in our warehouses (Natural Stone Slab Yard) to increase our efficiency and improve customer satisfaction. As a warehouse worker, your daily tasks include the preparation of merchandise, receiving and processing incoming stock and materials, loading and unloading trucks and containers, and organizing, staging, and preparing finished products for shipping. You will be responsible for the effective distribution of Cosentino products.

To ensure success you need the ability to follow instructions and operate in an orderly manner. In this position, there will be different fronts you are going to be working with Manufacturing, Production and Distribution.

• Load and unload product for truck, flatbed or container
• Move product within the warehouse by using a forklift or overhead crane
• Prepare Metal A-frame return shipments
• Repair/Rebuild Wooden A-frames for LTL shipments
• Move waste from containers to dumpsters
• Report issues for quality control purposes by reviewing all incoming and outgoing products for damages
• Operate within standard operating procedures (SOPs) and Job Safety Analysis (JSAs)
• Clean and maintain a safe working area ensuring that Health and Safety processes and procedures are met

• 2+ years of warehouse experience.

• Ability to carry and lift up to 80 lbs.
• Be able to stand for 8 hours or more a day

The starting hourly range for this position is$19 - 22.50/hr
