Cosentino is seeking a CDL Class 1 Driver located near Rosser, MB to join our growing team and deliver Cosentino products safely to customers and warehouses. You will work in a multinational environment with challenging projects.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years of Class 1 driving, DOT cargo securement knowledge, clean driving record, and the ability to pass random drug tests. High school diploma and air brake endorsement are required.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience driving with a Class 1 Driver’s License.
• Experience & proficiency with DOT Cargo Securement/Load Regulations.
• Clean Driving Record
• Must be able to pass random drug screens
• Previous Stone industry experience

Responsibilities

• Deliver Cosentino products safely and efficiently to customers and warehouses.
• Work alone and receive direction from Supervisors, Dispatchers, Warehouse Managers, and Transportation Managers.
• Be polite and prompt with a commitment to providing an excellent experience for clients.
• Ensure orders are properly fulfilled and work safely to satisfy clients.
• Delivering: distribution/collection of material to/from clients and ensure truck follows DOT regulations and has necessary documentation.

What you will do

A Driver is responsible for delivering Cosentino Products safely and efficiently to customers and warehouses. Those performing this job usually work alone and receive direction from Supervisors, Dispatchers, Warehouse Managers, and in some cases Transportation Managers.

To succeed as a driver with us you should be polite and prompt with a commitment to providing our clients with an excellent experience. You should be thorough in ensuring orders are properly fulfilled, committed to working safely, and enthusiastic about satisfying clients.

Our drivers are expected to work on two different fronts:
Delivering

• Responsible for the distribution/collection of material to/from clients as required.
• Ensure that the truck follows the required maintenance by DOT regulations and always travels with the necessary documentation.
• Assist in moving material in the warehouse with a forklift and/or overhead crane.
• Position blocks and ties, straps/chains, and binders for cargo securement.

Administration

• Accurate accounting of all freights delivered and/or picked up
• Manage execution of all paperwork with special emphasis on inspections and hours of service required
• Other duties as assigned

What you need to succeed

EXPERIENCE
Required:

• 2+ years of experience driving with aClass 1 Driver’s License
• Experience & proficiency with DOT Cargo Securement/Load Regulations.
• Clean Driving Record
• Must be able to pass random drug screens
• Previous Stone industry experience

EDUCATION
Required:

• High School Diploma/GED
• Air Brake Endorsement

SKILLS

• Electronic Log Device (GEOTAB)
• Experience managing email (Microsoft Outlook)
• Ability to carry and lift up to 40 lbs.

The starting hourly range for this position is between $29 - 31.50/hr
Factors which may affect starting pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
This position is also eligible Potential Annual Award depending on individual performance and Company performance, in accordance with the terms of the Company’s plan.

Benefits: The Company offers the following benefits for this position, subject to applicable eligibility requirements, including Medical, Dental, and Vision Insurance, Short-term and Long-term Disability and Basic Life and Supplemental Insurance. You will also be eligible to enroll in our 401(k) Retirement Plan, starting the first of the month.

Paid time off: Vacation time will be accrued monthly and will be subject to change per the Company’s policy updates. 5 days of sick time. Full-time employees will receive 2 floating holidays to use each year. If hired after July 1, employees receive 1 floating holiday to use for that calendar year.
