Job description

Shift:Monday - Friday (8:30am - 5:00pm)

In your role as Warehouse Worker – Motorized, at The North West Company (TNWC), you will be responsible to provide support to our Motorized Division in receiving, storing, and shipping motorsport parts and accessories in our warehouse facility. This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Your Role:
  • Receive / Stock incoming parts.
  • Pick and pack all parts orders.
  • Process packages through Canada Post shipping system.
  • Support Inventory control/maintenance.
  • Parts pick up from suppliers around the city (needs driver’s license).
  • Ensures that the service department offers the highest level of customer service.
  • Load and unload delivery trucks requiring forklift.
  • Produce waybills for carriers as required.
  • Maintain good departmental housekeeping according to Health & Safety guidelines.
  • Assist in other departments as required.
  • Complete other duties as assigned.
Desired Skills & Experience:
  • Must have a Class 5 Driver’s License with satisfactory driver’s abstract.
  • Knowledge and experience with Motorsports products is an asset.
  • High attention to detail and able to follow instructions and Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) accurately.
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals.
  • Maintain valid Forklift certificate (internal fork lift certificate).
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work individually and as a team is required.
  • Strong time management skills, with a capability to work effectively under pressure.
