Job summary

Thermo Fisher Scientific is seeking a part-time warehouse associate in Canada. The role involves handling hazardous materials, operating RF tech and PCs, and ensuring inventory accuracy. You will work Mon-Fri from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, with a pay range of $22.00–$22.50 per hour.

Responsibilities include receiving, put-away, picking, packing, shipping orders, and following GMP/Safety standards. A High School Diploma or GED is required, with at least 1 year of warehouse experience preferred.

Qualifications

• 1 year of General warehouse experience preferred.
• Able to lift or lower goods up to 50lbs to/from waist level.
• Qualified equipment operator required (fork lift, order picking truck, reach truck).

Responsibilities

• Operate material handling equipment in a safe and controlled manner within a warehouse that stocks hazardous products.
• Operate remote frequency devices and/or computer workstations to update warehouse management and transportation management systems.
• Receive, put away, replenish, pick, pack, and ship orders.
• Follow the company processes, policies and regulatory practices, including handling of hazardous materials, transportation of dangerous goods, ISO, CGP, and WHMIS.
• Assist, when required, in cycle counting or physical inventory.
• Work efficiently in a team-oriented environment.
• Assists in special projects or other duties as assigned by immediate supervisor or DC manager.

8:00 AM - 4:30 PM, Monday to Friday

Education

A minimum of a High School Diploma or GED

Experience

• 1 year of General warehouse experience preferred


• Able to lift or lower goods up to 50lbs. to or from waist level


• Qualified equipment operator required (fork lift, order picking truck, reach truck).
