Job Summary

Work location: 399 Glover Rd Hamilton L0R 1P0

Shift: Friday to Sunday, 5am to 6pm (plus 4 hours), 40 hrs/week total

A Warehouse Associate II impacts the organization by meeting specific operational key performance indicators. This experienced employee has a general knowledge of warehousing terminology and practices. Responsibilities include unloading, sorting, picking, kitting, packing, shipping, cycle counts, and possibly managing multiple accounts. Use of PC-based warehouse management systems, RF Scanners, carts, pallet jacks, and forklifts may be required. The employee may have direct contact with customers and vendors and works under supervision by the Warehouse Lead or Supervisor.

Responsibilities:
  • Receive and inspect inbound products according to SOPs.
  • Properly store products based on SOPs.
  • Handle returns, verify quantities and conditions, and complete necessary paperwork.
  • Prioritize and select products for orders, match reprinted orders, and verify order accuracy.
  • Pack and label orders securely and accurately.
  • Arrange shipment pickups, coordinate with carriers, and manage schedules.
  • Operate power equipment safely, including forklifts and pallet movers.
  • Use RF scanners for barcode scanning and update inventory in warehouse management systems.
  • Perform physical counts and monitor inventory discrepancies.
  • Respond promptly to customer inquiries and resolve issues.
  • Generate reports and ensure safety practices are followed.
  • Maintain equipment and participate in safety committees.
Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Warehouse experience required.
