Job summary

Lordco Auto Parts is seeking a Warehouse Distribution Worker for a 3-month contract at their Port Coquitlam distribution center. The role involves picking and packing orders, receiving and storing inventory, and ensuring stock accuracy.

You will use scanners and operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehousing equipment, while adhering to safety protocols. The position offers full-time hours with a shift pattern including Sundays and weekdays, and has potential to transition to a permanent

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• WHMIS/TDG certification an asset.
• Open to flexible schedules, including weekends.
• Must be able to work full time.

Responsibilities

• Pick and pack orders and receive/put away inventory.
• Diligently check stock for wear or damage and report faults.
• Prepare and pack special orders for stores/customers.
• Scan bar codes using a hand scanner.
• Operate pallet jacks, forklifts, picker trucks, conveyors, and walkie talkies.
• Use online stock control system for tasks and maintain clean, safe areas.

Position: Warehouse Distribution Worker (3-Month Contract, Full-Time)

Shift: Sunday 10am-6:30pm, Mon-Thur 3:00pm-11:30pm

What you’ll do:

• Pick and pack orders, as well as receive and put away inventory
• Diligently check stock for wear/damage and report faults and discrepancies
• Follow the procedure for preparing and packing special orders for our stores and customers
• Scan bar codes on products from totes to pallets and packages using a hand scanner
• Operate electric and manual pallet jacks, forklifts, picker trucks, conveyor systems, walkie talkies, and work with autonomous vehicles
• Practice caution when working around moving machines, such as order pickers, forklifts, electric and manual pallet jacks, and mobile carts
• Use an online stock control system to perform specific tasks
• Perform general warehouse duties, including keeping areas clean and tidy

Do you fit thepart?

• You are a high school graduate or equivalent
• You must be able to lift up to 50 lbs
• WHMIS and Transportation of Dangerous Goods certification is an asset
• You are open to flexible work schedules, including but not limited to overtime and weekend shifts
• Must be able to work full time.
