Job summary

Lordco Auto Parts is expanding its distribution operations at the new Port Coquitlam center and seeks a Warehouse Distribution Worker for a 3-month contract. Shifts are 3:00pm–11:30pm, located in Port Coquitlam, BC, with opportunities for advancement based on performance.

You will pick and pack orders, receive and store inventory, scan barcodes, and operate forklifts and other equipment while following safety protocols.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs.
• WHMIS and Transportation of Dangerous Goods certification is an asset.
• Open to flexible work schedules, including overtime and weekend shifts.
• Must be able to work full time.

Responsibilities

• Pick and pack orders and receive and put away inventory.
• Diligently check stock for wear/damage and report faults and discrepancies.
• Follow the procedure for preparing and packing special orders for our stores and customers.
• Scan barcodes on products from totes to pallets using a hand scanner.
• Operate electric and manual pallet jacks, forklifts, picker trucks, conveyor systems, walkie talkies, and work with autonomous vehicles.
• Practice caution around moving machines such as order pickers, forklifts, pallet jacks, and mobile carts.
• Use an online stock control system to perform specific tasks.
• Perform general warehouse duties, including keeping areas clean and tidy.
