Qualifications

• Trained in WHMIS, Health and Safety, HACCP.

Responsibilities

Job Summary

This $23/hour warehouse role involves picking and staging orders, operating a stand‑up counterbalance forklift, and working safely in a cold/freezer environment while following all Food Safety, HACCP, and workplace safety requirements. The role requires lifting 50–70+ lbs., and weekend availability may be required.

***A 4:00 AM start time is mandatory, so candidates must be reliable and consistently able to arrive on time and ready to work.****

Responsibilities

• Pick and stage orders accurately and efficiently in a cold/freezer environment.
• Operate an electric stand‑up counterbalance forklift safely in accordance with company and regulatory standards.
• Follow all health and safety protocols, including proper use of PPE in cold storage areas.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of warehouse areas.
• Provide assistance in maintaining workplace safety, including being a certified First Aid responder on shift.
• Ensure that any equipment being used is safe to operate at all times.
• Ability to follow directions.
• Comply with all Food Safety and HACCP regulations.
• Ability to be available to work weekends as needed.
• All other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Standup electric counterbalance forklift certificate required.
• Occupational First Aid Certificate is an asset (OFA Level 1).
• 1+ year warehouse related experience (food processing, cold environment production) an asset.
• Completion of High School, Post‑Secondary an asset.
• Trained in WHMIS, Health and Safety, Food Safety, HACCP.
• Able to work in a fast‑paced work environment with superior attention to safe work methods.
• Physically able to lift (50 to 70 + lbs.), stand, walk, bend, twist, stoop, squat, repetitively for the duration of the shift.
• Can identify and resolve problems in a timely manner.
• Ability to work well under pressure.
