Job summary

Wonderbrands in Mississauga is seeking a Warehouse Person to handle, store, and move food products in a distribution center. You'll load/unload trucks, pick and pack orders, and ensure GMP and HACCP standards are met in cold temperatures.

The role requires 1–2 years of warehouse experience, a valid forklift certification, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs. SAP/ERP/WMS experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1–2 years of warehouse experience; cold storage or food manufacturing preferred.
• Valid forklift or reach truck certification required.
• Ability to work in cold temperatures (-20°C/-4°F to 5°C/41°F) for extended periods.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and perform physically demanding tasks.
• Experience with inventory systems (e.g., SAP, ERP, WMS) is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Receiving & Shipping: Load and unload inbound and outbound shipments accurately, verifying quantities and inspecting for damages.
• Order Picking & Packing: Accurately pick and stage products according to work orders or pick lists. Ensure correct labeling and packaging for outbound shipments.
• Stock Handling: Move, organize, and rotate inventory using pallet jacks or forklifts. Maintain accurate stock placement using FIFO (First In, First Out) method.
• Food Safety Compliance: Follow GMP, sanitation protocols, and allergen controls to maintain product safety and integrity.
• Inventory Support: Assist with physical inventory counts and cycle counts. Report discrepancies or damaged goods to the supervisor.
• Housekeeping: Maintain a clean and organized work area, including sweeping, sanitizing, and disposing of waste as required.
• Safety & Equipment Use: Operate equipment (e.g., forklifts, reach trucks, RF scanners) safely and in accordance with company policies.
• Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with team members and other departments to ensure smooth warehouse operations and timely fulfillment.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Summary

Pay Rate: $25.11/hr

Required Experience

• Knowledge of GMP, HACCP, and food handling standards specific to temperature-controlled environments.
• Ability to work in cold temperatures (-20°C/-4°F to 5°C/41°F) for extended periods.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and perform physically demanding tasks.
• Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and organizational skills.
• Computer skills: experience with inventory systems (e.g., SAP, ERP, WMS) is an asset.
