Job summary

Nutreco’s Trouw Nutrition division in Sherwood Park is seeking a dedicated Warehouse Worker for full-time, rotating shifts. You will support daily warehouse operations, stocking, order fulfillment, and customer pickups, while upholding safety and accuracy in a fast-paced environment.

The role requires physical stamina, good teamwork, and a commitment to high-quality service. Prior forklift experience is an asset and training is provided where needed.

Qualifications

  • Grade 12 diploma or equivalent.
  • Able to lift up to 25 kg (55 lbs).
  • Regular, full-time, shift-work rotation may be required.
  • Forklift experience is an asset.

Responsibilities

  • Support daily warehouse operations and customer service activities.
  • Handle product movement and maintain a clean, organized environment.
  • Verify accurate recording of incoming and outgoing products.
  • Maintain stock rotation in SOPs.
  • Assist customers and internal teams during pickups.
  • Operate forklift and load feed as needed.
  • Keep yard and warehouse safe and organized.

What you’ll do
  • Warehouse Worker supports daily warehouse operations and customer service activities.
  • This role involves handling product movement, maintaining a clean and organized environment, and assisting customers and internal teams.
  • Strong work ethic, attention to detail, and a customer-focused mindset are essential.
  • Verify accurate recording of incoming and outgoing products.
  • Maintain proper stock rotation in accordance with standard operating procedures (SOPs).
  • Support stock counts and respond to customer inquiries during pickups.
  • Perform general warehouse duties, including serving customers, loading feed, receiving orders, and operating a forklift.
  • Keep the yard and warehouse clean, safe, and organized.
  • Work with team members to support an efficient, well-organized warehouse environment.
  • Manage multiple tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Maintain a strong focus on product quality and accuracy.
  • Complete other duties as assigned.
Who we’re looking for
  • Able to bend, twist, climb ladders, open and close lids, and stand for extended periods.
  • Able to regularly lift and move up to 25 kg (55 lbs).
  • Comfortable performing repetitive tasks in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment.
  • Comfortable working in dusty, noisy, and variable-temperature conditions.
  • Willing to use required personal protective equipment, such as a hard hat and safety boots.
  • Able to operate equipment and work at heights when required.
  • Regular, full-time, shift-work rotation (e.g. 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM; 4:00 PM - 12:30 AM) may be required, including some weekends or extended hours based on operational needs.
  • You’ll also need Grade 12 diploma or equivalent.
  • Agricultural industry experience is considered an asset.
  • Forklift experience is an asset.
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Committed to providing high-quality customer service.
  • Strong organizational skills with excellent attention to detail.
  • Professional, approachable, and customer-focused.
