Job summary

Bunzl GRP - Edmonton is seeking a Warehouse worker to join our Edmonton, AB team. The role involves receiving and processing stock, picking and packing orders, and preparing shipments in a fast-paced environment.

The successful candidate will have warehouse or forklift experience, a high school diploma or equivalent, and the ability to lift up to 25 kg and work at heights up to 21 feet with safety precautions. Overtime may be required as needed.

Qualifications

• Previous warehouse/forklift operation experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Overtime may be required on short notice.
• Must be dependable and a team player.
• Must lift in excess of 25 kgs and frequent lifting of 10–15 kgs.
• Must work regularly at heights up to 21 feet with safety equipment.
• Strong attention to detail and punctuality.

Responsibilities

• Pick customer orders indicated on pick tickets, wrap pallets and load trucks for in-town deliveries.
• Wrap and label pallets for out-of-town deliveries and pick-ups.
• Conduct bin walks, checking for empty bins nightly.
• Maintain rows neatly, sweep floors, align pallets in slots, ensure level loads.
• Operate an industrial forklift.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
• Assist other warehouse workers as requested by the Warehouse Manager or supervisor.

Description

The Warehouse worker will perform a variety of functions that may include receiving and processing incoming stock, picking and filling orders from stock, packing and shipping orders, or managing, organizing and retrieving stock in the warehouse. The ideal candidate must be well suited to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

• Pick customer orders indicated on pick tickets. Wraps pallets and loads trucks for in-town deliveries.
• Wraps and labels pallets for out-of-town deliveries and pick-ups
• Conducts bin walk nightly, checking empty bins
• Maintains assigned row in a neat and orderly manner – sweeps floor; aligns pallet in slots; level load slots
• Utilize an industrial forklift
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
• Assist other warehouse workers in completing tasks as requested by the Warehouse Manager or immediate supervisor

Requirements:

• Previous warehouse/forklift operation experience
• High school diploma or equivalent is required

• Must be able to lift in excess of 25 kgs and frequent lifting on average of 10 to 15 kgs
