Job summary

Bunzl Canada Inc. is seeking a Warehouse worker to perform a variety of functions including receiving stock, picking and filling orders, packing and shipping, and managing stock in the warehouse.

Typical shift is Monday-Friday, 7:30am-4:30pm. Responsibilities include order picking, pallet wrapping, shipping coordination, inventory counts, and operating forklifts. Candidates should have a high school diploma and forklift experience is an asset.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Previous stand up forklift, reach truck and order picker experience is an asset.
• Must be dependable and a team player.
• Must have exceptional organizational and time management skills.
• Must be able to lift in excess of 25 kgs and frequent lifting on average of 10 to 15 kgs.
• Must be able to work regularly at a height of up to 21 feet above the ground (with provided safety equipment/processes/training).
• Must be able to read, interpret, and process paperwork.
• Strong attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Pick customer orders indicated on pick tickets and wrap pallets for in-town deliveries.
• Schedule shipping and receiving and coordinate freight.
• Receive internal transfers and incoming purchase orders.
• Wrap and label pallets for out-of-town deliveries and pick-ups.
• Conduct cycle counts, bin maintenance, inventory reporting.
• Utilize an industrial forklift and order picker.
• Maintain a clean, safe work environment and organize pallets.
• Support other warehouse workers as needed by the Warehouse Manager.

• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment - sweeps floor; aligns pallet in slots; level load slots
• Assist other warehouse workers in completing tasks as requested by the Warehouse Manager or immediate supervisor
