Dufresne Furniture and Appliances is currently seeking a reliable and hard-working Warehouse Handler & Driver Assistant for our Swift Current store located at 145 2nd Ave NW. This is a Part-Time opportunity typically requiring three shifts per week (Mondays, Fridays & Saturdays).

As the Warehouse Handler & Driver Assistant, you will support our existing team with customer pick ups on-location at our warehouse and store. You will also assist our warehouse team with local deliveries as required. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic and excellent communication skills. Responsibilities will include :

• Loading and unloading product
• Taking inventory of materials shipped or received
• Disposing of leftover packing materials such as wooden crates, pallets, and cardboard
• Fulfilling warehouse orders

As a successful candidate you will have the following :

• Valid Class 5 Driver’s License with clean Driver Abstract (with air considered a plus).
• Ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50-100 pounds unassisted).
• Ability to work in all weather conditions.
• Ability to stand, walk, and bend for extended periods of time.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
• Experience in a warehouse and / or delivery setting preferred.
• You will work as part of a team that is ambitious with our community involvement and customer service. We ask that you're open to helping out with events and social programs we host, during your work schedule.
