Meet NATE - Warehouse Technician

Purpose of Position :

The Warehouse Technician is a key member of the Maintenance team reporting to the Supervisor of Stores. The incumbent is responsible for maintaining aeronautical products, tooling, and consumable stock, along with supporting the fleet to ensure OTP (On Time Performance).

We offer a brand new, refurbished warehouse equipped with state-of-the-art technology such as Kardex Remstar Vertical Lift Modules at certain bases.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Perform daily shipping, receiving, inspection, order processing, and stocking of inventory.
  • Prepare and ship parts orders to outlying bases.
  • Coordinate delivery of AOGs (Aircraft On Ground), including customs clearance of AOG parts after hours when required.
  • Issue inventory and assist in monitoring and maintaining inventory levels.
  • Enter data into computer systems for shipments, goods received, work orders, etc.
  • File documents as required.
  • Perform heavy lifting as needed.
  • Follow established policies and procedures, prioritizing safety for oneself, co-workers, and customers.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications :

  • Must possess a valid driver's license.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Ability to obtain a valid AVOP (Airside Vehicle Operators Permit).
  • Eligibility for Restricted Area Pass.
  • Successful completion of Dangerous Goods training.
  • Knowledge of aircraft parts and common hardware is preferred.
  • Basic computer and data entry skills required.
  • Strong attention to detail, effective work management, and time management skills.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to interact with various departments and supervisors.
  • Experience or training in inventory management and purchasing is an asset.
  • Bilingualism in English and French is an asset; required in Montreal.

Training :

Extensive training including safety, dangerous goods, forklift operation, and Maintenance Information System will be provided.

This is a unionized position with competitive pay scales outlined in our collective agreement, with pay increases every 6 months to 1 year, plus annual increases. The position qualifies for a Technical Premium paid on top of the base wage for every hour worked.

Required Experience :

Experience in Abinitio, Electronic Security, Internship, Learning Management System, Airport operations, Environment, Health, and Safety is preferred.
