  • Enter shipment and work orders into the computer system.
  • Perform duties in accordance with established policies prioritizing safety.
  • Other related duties as assigned.

Meet NATE - Warehouse Technician

Purpose of Position :

The Warehouse Technician is a key member of the Maintenance team, reporting to the Supervisor Stores. The incumbent is responsible for maintaining aeronautical products, tooling, and consumable stock, along with supporting the fleet with OTP (On Time Performance).

Welcome to a brand new, refurbished warehouse equipped with state-of-the-art technology such as Kardex Remstar Vertical Lift Modules at certain bases.

Key Responsibilities :
  • Perform daily shipping, receiving, inspection, order processing, and stocking of inventory.
  • Preparation and shipping of parts orders to outlying bases.
  • Coordinate delivery of AOGs (Aircraft On Ground), including customs clearance of AOG parts after hours when required.
  • Issue inventory and assist in monitoring and maintaining inventory levels.
  • Enter shipment, goods received, work orders, and related data into the computer system.
  • Filing as required.
  • Heavy lifting required.
  • Perform duties in accordance with established policies and procedures, prioritizing safety for yourself, co-workers, and customers.
  • Other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications :
  • Must possess a valid driver's license.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Ability to obtain a valid AVOP (Airside Vehicle Operators Permit).
  • Eligibility for Restricted Area Pass.
  • Successful completion of Dangerous Goods training.
  • Knowledge of aircraft parts preferred; knowledge of common hardware essential.
  • Basic computer and data entry skills required.
  • Strong work management, attention to detail, and time management skills.
  • Effective communication skills and ability to interact with other departments, employees, and supervisors.
  • Training and/or experience in inventory management and purchasing is an asset.
  • Bilingualism in English and French is an asset; required in Montreal.
Training :

Extensive training will be provided, including safety, dangerous goods, forklift operation, and Maintenance Information System.

This is a unionized position with competitive pay scales outlined in our collective agreement, with pay progressing every 6 months to 1 year and annual increases. The position qualifies for a Technical Premium paid on top of the base wage for every hour worked.
