Job summary

Avantor is seeking a Warehouse Associate to perform day-to-day warehouse operations, including receiving, storing and shipping materials, ensuring inventory accuracy, and timely order fulfillment. You will operate forklifts and pallet jacks, follow SOPs, and maintain a safe work environment so that Avantor’s global teams can rely on accurate logistics.

The role requires a High School diploma or GED, experience with warehouse systems, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Qualifications

  • High School completion or equivalent (GED) is required.
  • Experience with warehouse systems
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
  • Comfortable with repetitive movement and working with hands/feet simultaneously
  • Basic computer skills (Teams and Outlook an asset)
  • Forklift/OSHA/HAZMAT certifications (assets)
  • Previous Inventory experience (asset)
  • TDG certification (asset)

Responsibilities

  • Unload incoming shipments and verify accuracy and condition.
  • Pick orders with correct product, lot and quantity; move with forklifts.
  • Label, wrap, palletize and prepare orders for shipment.
  • Ensure stock rotation and update inventory in the system.
  • Operate warehouse equipment safely and maintain a clean, safe work area.
