Orla operates the Camino Rojo Oxide Gold Mine in Zacatecas, Mexico, and the South Railroad Project in Nevada. Recently, we acquired the Musselwhite Mine in Northern Ontario, which has over 25 years of operating history and potential for resource expansion.

Purpose :

We are recruiting a Warehouse Technician for Musselwhite Mine. Based on-site, this role supports operational activities by managing the flow of materials, ensuring quality supply, storage, and distribution. The Warehouse Technician reports to the Warehouse Supervisor and is vital to the Warehouse Department's success.

Responsibilities include:

  1. Perform risk assessments and implement safety improvements.
  2. Manage inventory processes, storage, and warehousing tasks efficiently.
  3. Conduct daily checks on warehouse equipment and report issues.
  4. Coordinate and record deliveries to the site.
  5. Unload and load trucks using forklifts and loaders.
  6. Receive goods in SAP, report deficiencies, and coordinate with vendors and buyers.
  7. Analyze reservation lists in SAP and process goods issues.
  8. Use SAP reports for data analysis and storage layout planning.
  9. Maintain accurate inventory records in SAP and perform physical counts.
  10. Monitor materials with shelf lives for safety and hygiene compliance.
  11. Deliver products to various departments daily.
  12. Assist with stock replenishment and inventory reconciliation.
  13. Resolve discrepancies involving accounts payable and inventory adjustments.
  14. Assist end-users in locating items.
  15. Prepare items for shipping, ensuring proper labeling and documentation.
  16. Package and label materials securely for shipping, including dangerous goods.
  17. Perform transactional duties and customer service accurately.
  18. Review and update warehouse procedures regularly.
  19. Perform other related duties as assigned.

Skills and Experience:

  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Minimum of five years warehouse experience.
  • Knowledge of Transportation of Dangerous Goods legislation.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and SAP.
  • Valid driver's license.
  • Ability to lift 50-70 lbs. with assistance.
  • Commitment to safety and social responsibility.
  • Willingness to learn and innovate.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Forklift operator certification is an asset.

Working Conditions:

The schedule is 14 days on and 14 days off, 12 hours per day.
